Kayla Wiedholz is an artist based in Louisville, Colorado who specializes in acrylic painting on canvas. Her vibrant landscape paintings are based on photographs that she has taken, either locally in Colorado or during her travels. She produces original acrylic paintings on stretched canvas, as well as a variety of high quality prints. Wiedholz is a full time high school math teacher, but has always had a passion for painting. She started an Etsy shop in January of 2025, and participated in over a dozen local art markets in the Denver/Boulder area in 2025. The artist uses the name “Ruth Evelyn Paints” for her business as a tribute to her Grandma Ruth, who was always her biggest supporter. In addition to landscape paintings, Wiedholz also creates custom pet paintings which can be ordered through Etsy under the shop name “Ruth Evelyn Paints”.
