Painting

As an artist captivated by the subtle symphony of nature, my work is dedicated to celebrating the breathtaking beauty of fall, the grandeur of trees, the majesty of mountains, and the sculptural wonders of clay formations like those found in Garden of the Gods or Eldorado Canyon. My purpose is to evoke memories through these vivid landscapes, creating connections that go beyond the canvas.

I choose my subject matter with a fervent desire to encapsulate nature's tales, moments that hold the power to stir an individual's soul. My heart gravitates towards the landscapes of Colorado - places like Aspen and the Garden of the Gods - regions that persistently speak to me, urging me to capture their beauty in paint.

The allure of trees draws me in, their organic branches swaying with life. I am particularly fascinated by the vibrant palette of fall, where reds, oranges, and yellows dance in harmony, sharing their warmth and color with all who view them.

What truly ignites my creativity are the formations and scenes of nature - from the formidable rocks to the vivacious fall foliage or the serene flow of a river navigating its way through a canyon. Colorado's vistas - Rocky Mountain National Park, Eldorado Canyon, Clear Creek, and Garden of the Gods - are more than just locations; they are catalysts of inspiration, urging me to capture their essence through brush and canvas.

My technique is an amalgamation of alla prima and Impressionist styles, allowing me to capture the moment with vibrant color hues and dynamic forms. I embrace Plein air methods, cherishing the opportunity to be enveloped in nature's embrace, feeling the gentle caress of the wind and the warm kiss of the sun as I paint.

Through my art, I strive to offer a window into the soul of nature, a glimpse of the world that is both timeless and transient, captured in a moment and imprinted on the heart.
