Lauren Keliher

Painting

LEK is a local Colorado painter who works mainly in oils to make large scale, full color projects with pattern and movement. Because of her background in animation, she often considers her paintings to be storyboards which can be arranged in many ways to explain different narratives. Some of her work is figurative painting and some is botanical and landscape subjects that emphasize rhythms in form and color. Lauren studied animation and painting at the Rhode Island School of Design.
